Mahindra Vision X: Mahindra showcased its Vision X concept SUV on 15 August 2025 during its Freedom_NU (Independence Day) event in Mumbai. This is one of four futuristic concepts under the Vision 2027 strategy. Positioned as an urban-friendly, sub-4 metre SUV, the Vision X previews a compact yet spacious vehicle built to rival models like the Brezza, Sonet, Venue, and Nexon.
Mahindra Vision X Platform & Launch Vision
The Vision X is built on Mahindra’s all-new modular NU.IQ platform, which offers flexibility across sizes ranging from about 3,990 mm to 4,320 mm. Despite its compact length, Mahindra claims this platform delivers class-leading cabin space across both sub-4 metre and larger vehicles. This concept hints at a production-ready SUV that could arrive by 2027 under either the XUV or XEV brand.
Mahindra Vision X Design & Size
The design looks sharp, modern, and sporty. It features split LED headlamps, a sleek airdam, and a long, sculpted bonnet. The roof slopes gently toward the back, giving it a coupe-like appeal, while flush door handles, large dual-tone alloy wheels, squared wheel arches, and bold body cladding add to its urban toughness. At the rear, a connected LED tail lamp signature and dual-tone bumper give it a modern finish.

Mahindra Vision X Interior & Technology
Inside, the Vision X adopts Mahindra’s fresh cockpit-style layout. Twin curved digital screens—one for infotainment and another for the instrument cluster—dominate the dash. The layered dashboard and door trims create a futuristic feel. The cabin features a floating centre console, D-cut steering wheel, twin cup holders, potential HUD integration, and dual-zone climate controls—all designed for comfort and tech-savvy appeal.
Mahindra Vision X Future Outlook
This cozy yet bold concept SUV signals Mahindra’s upcoming compact model, set to join the Vision family of concepts, including Vision S, T, and SXT. Built to capture the imagination of urban buyers, the Vision X concept promises a blend of space, style, and affordability. With a likely production window around 2027, it should offer strong competition in India’s sub-4m SUV segment.
