Mahindra unveiled its Vision S Concept SUV during the Freedom_NU (Independence Day) event in Mumbai as part of its Vision 2027 strategy. Positioned as a premium mid-size electric SUV, the Vision S showcases Mahindra’s bold design philosophy and next-generation EV technology. It aims to target urban as well as highway buyers, with a focus on style, sustainability, and advanced connected features.
Mahindra Vision S Platform & Launch Vision
The Vision S is built on Mahindra’s INGLO EV platform, which supports multiple body styles, scalable battery packs, and fast-charging technology. The platform is engineered for flexibility, enabling both two-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive setups. The production version of the Vision S is expected by 2027, likely positioned as a flagship electric SUV under the XUV or BE (Born Electric) brand lineup.
Mahindra Vision S Design & Size
The Vision S stands out with its futuristic SUV silhouette and bold proportions. Up front, it gets slim LED DRLs, a wide illuminated grille, and a muscular sculpted bonnet. The side profile is coupe-inspired, featuring flush door handles, aerodynamic curves, and large dual-tone alloy wheels. At the rear, a connected LED light bar, sporty bumper, and sharp design elements enhance its modern and premium appeal.

Mahindra Vision S Interior & Technology
The cabin of the Vision S Concept reflects Mahindra’s focus on luxury and high-tech innovation. It features a minimalist design with twin curved digital displays for infotainment and instrumentation, a floating centre console, and a D-cut steering wheel. Premium upholstery, ambient lighting, and sustainable materials add to the futuristic experience. Other highlights may include dual-zone climate control, AI-enabled connectivity, and AR-based HUD integration.
Mahindra Vision S Future Outlook
The Vision S Concept is part of Mahindra’s larger Vision Series, which also includes the Vision X, Vision T, and Vision SXT. As a mid-size SUV, it is expected to compete with global EVs while setting benchmarks in design, technology, and performance. With its focus on sustainability and premium features, the Vision S is set to redefine Mahindra’s EV ambitions by the 2027 production timeline.
